Welcome to Lakrootours. By using our website, requesting a quotation, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A booking is confirmed only after written confirmation from Lakrootours and receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
- Prices quoted are valid only for the period stated in the quotation.
2. Payments
- A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid before arrival or as agreed in writing.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer, online payment, or other approved payment methods.
- Any bank or transaction charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
3. Pricing
- Prices are quoted in the agreed currency.
- Prices may change due to government taxes, supplier charges, fuel costs, exchange rate fluctuations, or other circumstances beyond our control before booking confirmation.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
- Refunds are subject to hotel, transport, and supplier cancellation policies.
- Any non-refundable expenses already incurred will be deducted from the refund.
- Processing fees may apply where permitted.
5. Changes to Bookings
- Requests to change travel dates, hotels, transport, or itineraries are subject to availability.
- Additional charges may apply.
6. Travel Documents
- Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and any required health documentation.
- Lakrootours is not responsible for denied entry due to missing or invalid travel documents.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveler purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, delays, lost baggage, and personal liability.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
- Provide accurate booking information.
- Follow local laws and regulations in Sri Lanka.
- Respect hotels, vehicles, guides, drivers, and local communities.
- Behave in a safe and respectful manner throughout the tour.
9. Limitation of Liability
Lakrootours acts as a travel organizer and may arrange services provided by independent hotels, transport providers, guides, and other suppliers. While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for delays, cancellations, accidents, weather conditions, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Force Majeure
Lakrootours shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, terrorism, government restrictions, or severe weather.
11. Website Use
All content, images, logos, and text on this website are the property of Lakrootours unless otherwise stated. They may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
12. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is used only for providing travel services and communicating with customers.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
